• All motorcycles on the site are sold, except for those located in our Bikes For Sale section. 

Do you purchase motorcycles? 

• We are sorry but we are no longer able to purchase motorcycles.

Do Kevils provide servicing, MOT work and repairs?

• We concentrate on building beautiful custom bikes for our customers, so time is too limited for the above services.

What motorcycles do you build now? 

• We specialize in Harley-Davidsons, Triumphs, and BMW R nineTs.

Are Kevils still building older BMW Boxers? 

• Unfortunately due to the high cost of labour and parts, they are no longer a viable option. We prefer to concentrate on BMW R nine T's year 2014 and onwards.

How long will my bespoke motorcycle take to build? 

• The building process takes a couple of months once your deposit has been placed.

Do I come up with the bike's specification and design? 

• You are welcome to choose your own specifications based on our portfolio or inspiration images from the internet (such as Pinterest). As professional custom builders, we use our creative expertise and experience to build your dream machine.

Can I supply the bike? 

• We are happy to source a donor bike for you. You are also welcome to provide your own bike, and we can arrange for its delivery and collection.

Won’t I save money if I supply the bike? 

• Possibly, depending on the model you choose for us to build. However, we prefer to supply the bikes ourselves to make the whole process as easy as possible for our customers.

Do I have to visit Kevil’s to commission a motorcycle? 

• No, a visit is not necessary, though you are always welcome to stop by for a coffee and a chat. The ordering process can be handled entirely via email and WhatsApp for your convenience, and we can organise delivery for you.

Do I have to visit in person? 

• You are welcome to visit our shop, which features a fantastic cafe serving coffee and refreshments. If you wish to discuss a commission or a purchase, please call or email ahead to confirm viewing times for our finished bikes on display.

Build Quality & Performance

What does Kevil’s do during a build? 

• Our exacting standards ensure that everything required is thoroughly completed. All work is carried out in-house by our experienced team of technicians, providing you with a reliable, quality product covered by a Kevil’s guarantee.

Legal, Insurance & Shipping

Can I easily insure a custom bike? 

• Yes, a number of mainstream insurance companies are happy to provide cover. They will require a brief list of modifications, which we are happy to provide upon request.

Are Kevil’s bikes road-legal in the United Kingdom? 

• Yes, all our bikes are built to United Kingdom road-legal MOT standards and are supplied with appropriate UK V5 registration documentation and a current MOT certificate.

Can I pay cash on delivery? 

• No. Your bike must be paid for in full via online bank transfer before we release it from our shop. All bikes remain the property of Kevil’s Speed Shop until paid for in full.

• Only if we are not too busy!
